Jr. NTR's next project with Boyapati Srinu had its movie pooja today i.e on February 18th at KS Rama Rao’s office. KS Rama Rao is the producer for this film. Sruthi Haasan plays female lead in the movie. Director K Raghavendra Rao had clapped the muhurat shot. The first shooting was made with NTR and Sruthi Haasan. Other big men like VV Vinayak, Surender Reddy etc graced the occasion. Devisri Prasad is given chance to compose the music for this movie which is yet to be titled. Regular shooting of the movie will begin in May.

Director Geetha Krishna, known for making some of the meaningful and trendsetting movies like Sankeerthana, Kokila, Keechurallu etc.., has come up with his new film Koffee Bar now. Geeta Krishna’s much delayed Koffee Bar will release on March 4. Koffee Bar is produced and directed by Geeta Krishna. The movie is titled as Nimidangal in Tamil and Koffee Shop in Kannada. Shashank and Bianka Desai play lead roles in this movie.

Successful trade mark director Jakkanna(Rajamouli) who did a block buster with Prabhas earlier like Chatrapathi has teamed up with another prominent film-maker K Raghavendra Rao for their new project. One interesting aspect is that K Raghavendra Rao is thinking to produce this presticious project and this has to be confirmed by the respective firms. However, it looks like things are shaping up in a right way now, and the film-makers are all set to announce the new film details formally on 18th February at Cinemax, Hyderabbad. While, other details of the cast and crew of this new combo will be known on 18th February. Hence fans has to hold their nerves until 18 th Feb.

Controversial director Ram Gopal Varma's straight ahead movie in telugu after a long gap is coming up with huge expectations. Katha Screenplay Darsakathvam: Appalraju is going to be released on tomorrow world-wide. The movie is going to be released in more than 300 screens and is competing with Gautham Menon’s Erra Gulabilu releasing on the same day. KSD Appalraju is being produced by Kiran Kumar Koneru on Shreya Productions banner. Sunil, Swathi, Sakshi Gulati, Brahmanandam are playing the main roles in the film. Sudhakar Yakkanti has handled the cinematography and Koti has scored the music for the film .

It is known that Jr. NTR's Shakti is all set to release on March 31. Meher Ramesh is directing this movie on Vyjayanthi movies banner. This movie stands as highest budgeted film ever in Telugu film history. Producer Aswini Dutt is planning to release Shakti in Tamil targetting tamil audience too. Shakti makers believe that it has universal appeal and would definitely attract Tamil audience too. Ileana is playing the female lead in this film. NTR is hoping that it will extend his business frontiers into Tamil and hence helping his future projects to release in Tamilnadu.

Ram Gopal Varma’s next film Bejawada Rowdilu will start rolling its camera from 21st March. Varma will glass-case the backdrop of Vijaywada rowdyism and politics in the movie and this time he has chose Naga Chaitanya for the lead role.
However, Varma did not reveal any further details of Bejawada Rowdilu except a song which was released a couple of months back. Presently, RGV is busy with the post-production works of his zero budget film Dongala Mutha which is gearing up for its release in the month of March.

The five day shooting schedule of RGV’s experimental film Dongala Muta has been completed. The shooting part was launched on Feb 9th and concluded on Feb 13th. The shooting was conducted every day from 9 am to 6 pm duly and only in out door day light with out using lights set up. Around four to six multi-angle hand held digital cameras were used. Ram Gopal Varma was assisted in the direction department by Puri Jagannath who invested in the initial cost of production along with RGV. The another feature is that the the entire cast and crew were not paid any remuneration and will share the profits according to a weightage method in profits obtained.
Dongala Muta which is scheduled for release in the second week of March has Ravi Teja, Charmi, Prakash Raj, Laxmi Manchu, Brahmanandam, Subbaraju, Brahmaji, Supreet, Sunil, Venumadhav and Ali as part of the cast.

Aadi, son of Dialogue King and actor turned to TV host Saikumar is ready to debut in Tollywood with his first movie Prema Kavali on 25th February. Though this youthful love entertainer was supposed to release on the eve of Valentine’s Day, it was postponed and now, slated for a release on 25th February. Prema Kavali was directed by K Vijayabhaskar and produced by K Achi Reddy on the banner of Max India Productions This film casts a debutant Isha Chawla in the female lead and Dev Gill in the negative lead role. Music for this film was composed by Anoop Rubens and Chota K Naidu handled the cinematography.

Controversial director Ram Gopal Varma’s null cost experimental directorial Dongala Mutha shooting started yesterday at Hyderabad. As said earlier the entire shooting of the film will be wrapped up with in 5days. The movie is scheduled for its release in the early March and to meet this deadline, RGV planning to complete the post-production works at the earliest possible.Ravi Teja, Prakash Raj, Charmi, Lakshmi Manchu, Supreet, Brahmanandam and Brahmaji are casting in the film. Dongala Mutha has 5 technicians including director Varma while Puri Jagnnadh and Harish Shankar are the co-directors of the film. RGV is planning to set a trade mark in Tollywood with this film by showing how shooting costs can be kept low and to keep the span of shooting schedule less with innovative technologies etc...
