'Puli Veta' scheduled to release on Jan 15th 2011?

It is noted that well known production designer M.V. Gopala Rao has acquired the dubbing rights in telugu version of Layathalapathy Vijay's Vettaikaaran (2009), which was directed by B. Babusivan with Anushka as the heroine. It is currently being dubbed in Telugu as Puli Veta.
"Tamil version Vettaikaran was a big box office hit in Tamil Nadu. It almost collected Rs. 50 crores there. The dubbing work of Puli Veta is currently in progress. "Srihari played the role of a sincere police office in the film," Gopala Rao said. Dialogues are by Shashank Vennelakanti and the music is composed by Vijay Anthony and lyrics by Bhuvanachandra, Vennelakanti and Vanamali.
