Born  on December 12, 1949 , an absolute professional still continues to remain as the same simple Sivaji with his hardwork and discipline. He is none other than South-India's top Actor Rajinikanth. When he was discovered by the legendary director K. Balachander, Shivaji renamed himself as Rajinikanth. With his remarkable style, heroism, stunts, body language, dialogue delivery, even with his romantic scenes he was able to captivate all kinds of viewers .  Appreciation from audience for his inevitable acting helped him to achieve star status . Later he became as the invincible 'Superstar'. Even actors who are stars in other languages hold great regard and reverence for Rajni. In fact, his powerful appeal and strong impressions go beyond movies.
 Rajni’s family :  Rajnikanth family has four members (Rajini, his wife, two daughters). Rajni’s elder daughter Aishwarya is married to Dhanush, another Kollywood hero; the couple has two sons: Yatra and Linga. His second daughter Soundarya is into graphics and designing. She has set up her own company Ocher Studios in Chennai. Soundarya’s very first project is an animation movie Sultan featuring the Superstar in an animation role. While Soundarya worked on the framework of Sultan’s hero, the Superstar participated in the shoot and acted under his daughter’s direction. Soundarya Rajinikath is married to industrialist Ashwin Kumar. His latest release was Enthiran, directed by Shankar, is the costliest Indian film ever made. And for the first time Aishwarya Rai Bachchan teamed up with Superstar in this technical wonder. It shattered all the records ever set by an Indian Cinema and depicted the standard of Indian Cinema.
