RECRUITMENT FOR THE POSTS OF
CONSTABLE (TRADESMEN) CADRE - 2011

Applications are invited from eligible Male Indian citizens of India for filling up the following Group ‘C’ Combatised, Non-Gazetted (Non-Ministerial) posts in tradesmen cadres in SSB:

• Constables (Tradesmen) Cadre: 765 Posts in the following cadres
• CT(Cook): 252
• CT(Washer man): 129
• CT(Barber): 66
• CT(Safaiwala): 122
• CT(Water Carrier): 135
• CT(Waiter): 06
• CT(Painter): 09
• CT(Blacksmith): 04
• CT(Tailor): 15
• CT(Cobbler): 18
• CT(Gardener): 09
• Pay Scale : (Pay Band – 1) : Rs.5,200-20,200 + Grade Pay Rs.2,000/- per month.
• Age: 18 to 23 years (Cut-off date for age will be 15-06-2011)
• Educational & Other Qualifications for all posts:
• Matriculation or equivalent form a recognized Board or Institute. and
• Two years work experience in respective trade; OR 
• One year certificate course from a recognized Industrial Training Institute or Vocational Institute with at least one year experience in the Trade ; OR
• Two years Diploma from recognized Industrial Training Institute in the trade or similar trade.
• Must qualify trade test .
• Last Date: 15.06.2011
