Woman gang-raped, pushed from second floor in Bangalore

Brutality dwarfed in Bangalore when four men allegedly gang raped a Mumbai based woman and later pushed her from 2nd floor of Lodge in HSR layout. The 26 year old said to have been a sex worker sustained multiple injuries after being pushed from 2nd floor of the lodge. P

Presently the victim is undergoing treatment at Vani Vilas hospital.  According to Kamal Pant, The ADGP of Law & Order Bangalore, Police have registered cases of Rape, Kidnap and Attempt to murder against the assailants. An FIR also been filed on the statement given by the Victim to the doctors.

Pant said that according to the preliminary inquiry certain other dimensions have been cropped up. According to the statement given by the victim to the doctors, she was picked up by one of the accused. After having driving towards the lodge she found four men waiting for her. The men allegedly raped her and pushed her from the second floor of the building after trying to free herself from their shackles.

According to the sources,  passerby took the injured to the nearby Vani vilas hospital.  Meanwhile police are trying to track down culprits through the numbers the assailants made the calls to the woman.

The death toll by Unseasonal rains has climbed to 11 compared to previous 9. Over 20 Lakh Hectares of crops had been washed away. Andhra and Telangana regions have witnessed Heavy rainfall due to the depression developed in Tamil Nadu.

According to officials, Thunderstorms is also a cause for deaths.  Even Orchards spread over 36,380 hectares are also damaged and also Cattle deaths were reported.

Snowfall brings Kedarnath Yatra to a halt

Kedarnath Yatra was halted following the fresh snowfall at famous Himalayan shrine and nearby areas. Pilgrims were asked to wait in Sonprayag until the weather conditions improve. Yatra was called off as the nearby areas of shrine received snowfall said Rudraprayag SP Barinderjit singh. It is known that the shrine was opened on May 4 after six months winter break.

On the other hand the high priest of the temple suggested devotees to postpone the yatra until a week, as road conditions are not safe for the yatra.

Martyred jawans given guard of honour

A guard of honour ceremony was held today in remembrance of the seven jawans who were killed in a Naxal attack in gadchiroli on sunday.

Police officers and relatives of the dead victims paid floral tribute.

On Sunday, at least seven policemen were killed and two others injured as Maoists triggered a landmine blast in 'red rebel' hotbed of Gadchiroli District in Maharashtra.

Maoists blew up the vehicle when the policemen were conducting combing for an operational task in the forest between Pavimuranda and Murmuri villages in Chamorshi Taluka of the district.

After the explosion, there was a heavy exchange of fire between police and the red rebels.

Boat capsizes in Ganga River at Mirzapur, 18 missing

18 Persons went missing as a boat capsized in river Ganga at Mirzapur, Uttarpradesh. The mishap took place as the boat ferrying 26 people toppled. While 18 persons were missing, the rest managed to swim ashore. Boat toppled due to overcrowding. Top police officials said search operations are in full swing to save other.

2 in prakasham, 2 in mahabubnagar, 2 in srikakulam, 1 in warangal had died to the rains. 9,988 hectares of crop was damaged. 35,910 acres of horticulture crops were damaged.

Bus Plunges into the Valley in Uttarakhand, 17 dead and 5 injured

At least 17 people died and five inured as Bus plunged into the valley in chamoli dist of Uttarakhand. The incident happened when a private bus with passengers which is heading to ghat from rishikesh. The bus plunged into the valley only half km from it's destination. At least 15 people died on the spot and two while taking them to a nearby hospital. As the bus plunged in to the deep it broke in half.

Consumer forum Orders A Nursing Home to Pay Rs.18 Lakh in Compensation

We might have watched in few movies that doctors forgetting scissors, knifes and other things while performing surgery. That looks good to laugh at but in real life it's a life and death issue to the patient. Getting to the point, In Delhi such kind of incident happened. The doctors forgot a sponge in the patient's stomach.

In 2012 Sweha Khandelwal a resident of kailash nagar(Delhi) delivered a baby in Rishab Medical center located in Delhi. After the surgery doctors mistakenly forgot the sponge. From then on she got frequent stomach pains. She went to the same hospital to report the condition but doctors sent her away telling she doesn't have any problem.

As her health deteriorated day by day she admitted in another hospital. After the examination the doctors found that pus has accumulated in the stomach due to the infection. They performed the surgery and removed the sponge parts. Then the recovered patient approached the consumer forum and reported the incident. Forum reacting to the issue ordered Rishab Medical center to pay 18 lakh rupees in compensation to the patient.

Woman throws Mobile at Judge in Patna

A Woman approcahed Patna civil court to cancel the Bail of her relatives. In this process she filed a petition in court. From the past one week she has been visiting to the court restlessly. Finally the case came for the hearing. However, Patna dist Judge Birendra Kumar dismissed the petition. Angered by the Judgement, woman threw the Mobile on Judge.  Police who were at the scene took the woman into custody. Woman had been identified as Rita Singh belonging to sonipur. 31 Sri Lankan Fishermen Arrested in India, Boats seized

Visakhapatnam coast guard police today arrested 31 Sri-lankan fishermen for allegedly entering into the India seawater's. They found six suspicious boats when Carrying out the Inspection in the area of Nagayalanka in Krishna Dist. After they arrested the Total 31 fishermen who were present in the boats. 4 tonnes of Tuna fish and boats have been recovered and handed them over to Kakinada marine police. Police registered case against the fishermen and they are investigating the case.
