The Orissa Minerals Development Company (OMDC), part of Bird Group of Companies and subsidiary of Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited, and a PSU under the Ministry of Steel (Govt. of India), calls for applications from eligible Indian citizens belonging to SC, ST and OBC categories to fill up the following posts:
  • Deputy General Manager (Mines) DPE-E-05) – 02 Posts
    • Qualification: Degree in Mining Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute with 1st Class  Mines Manager certificate of competency from DGMS.
    • Age: 47 years as on 1st April 2011.
  • Deputy General Manager (Finance & Accounts) (DPE-E-05) – 02 Posts 
    • Qualification: CA/ICWA. Candidates possessing MBA(Fin.) will have preference.
    • Age: 47 years as on 1st April 2011.
  • Deputy General Manager (Personnel) (DPE-E-05)-01 Post
    • Qualification: Post graduate Degree in HR/IR or MBA with HR specialization from recognized University/Institute. Candidates possessing LLB will have preference. 
    • Age: 47 years as on 1st April 2011.
  • Deputy General Manager (Projects) (DPE-E-05)-01 Post
    • Qualification: Degree in Mechanical / Metallurgical Engineering from a recognized University/Institute. Candidates possessing MBA will have preference. 
    • Age: 47 years as on 1st April 2011.
  • Deputy General Manager (Geology) (DPE-E-05)-01 Post
    • Qualification: M.Sc.(Geology) from a recognized University/Institute. 
    • Age: 47 years as on 1st April 2011.
  • Deputy General Manager (Civil) (DPE-E-05)- 01 Post
    • Qualification: Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/Institute. Candidates
      possessing MBA will have preference.
    • Age: 47 years as on 1st April 2011.
  • Deputy General Manager (Commercial) (DPE-E-05)-01 Post
    • Qualification: MBA from a recognized University/Institute. Candidates possessing LLB will have preference.
    • Age: 47 years as on 1st April 2011.

    • Qualification: Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute.

    • Qualification: MBA from a recognized University/Institute. Candidates possessing LLB will have preference.

  • Senior Manager (Geology) (DPE-E-03)-02 Posts
    • Qualification: M.Sc.(Geology) from a recognized University/Institute.

  • Manager (Pers.)-02 Posts
    • Qualification: Degree in IT Engineering/ MCA from a recognized Institute or University

  • Dy. Manager (Welfare) (DPE-E-01)-01 Post
    • Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in Social Welfare or any equivalent degree in similar field  from recognized University/ Institute 
    • Age: 35 years as on 1st April 2011
  • Assistant Manager (Commercial) (DPE-E-0)-01 Post
    • Qualification: MBA from a recognized University/Institute. Candidates possessing LLB will have preference. 
    • Age: 32 years as on 1st April 2011
  • Personal Staff Officer (DPE-E-0)-03 Posts
    • Qualification: Graduate in any discipline with knowledge of noting and drafting. Typing speed of min.40 WPM. Ability to work with MS-Office is must.
    • Age: 36 years as on 1st April 2011
  • Last Date:  30 days from 07.05.2011 (date of publication) i.e. up to 05.06.2011
