Recruitment of Drivers
Applications are invited for filling up 14 temporary posts of Driver (12 for General category, 1 for SC/ST/BC/OBC and 1 for Exservicemen) in the pay scale of Rs. 5910- 20200 plus Grade pay Rs. 2400/- (with initial start of Rs. 9880/-) plus usual allowances as admissible from time to time.
The minimum educational qualification for the post of Driver is Middle pass with Punjabi/Hindi as one of the subjects. Applicant should possess a valid LTV licence and he should not have been convicted of any offence for negligent driving and should have a minimum of two years experience of driving car.
The minimum age should not be less than 18 years and maximum age should not be more than 27 years as on 07.04.2012 for candidates belonging to all the categories.
Fee : Application Fee of Rs.200/- (Rs.100/- for SC/ST/BC only) in the form of DD drawn on any nationalized bank payable at Chandigarh in favour of The Registrar General, High Court of Punjab and Haryana, Chandigarh.
