Google is long held the lead when it comes to their mapping technology in their maps app. Whereas version 7 of maps for Android rolls out the Smartphones and tablets. One of google's lesser known but very useful maps features has gone missing. Talking about offline maps the ability to call lot of section of a map and save that data so that you can interact with it even when you don't have an Internet connection. If you're travelling and you want to avoid roaming fees but still have access to local maps. This feature is a real life saver. The good news is that offline maps haven't has disappeared in version 7, They're just been relocated.
