• IBSD HEADQUARTERS AT IMPHAL, MANIPUR
• Scientist – E: 01 Post (Plant Biotechnology/Plant Molecular Biology)
• Pay: Rs. 37400-67000+GP 8700
• Qualification: 1st class M.Sc. in Plant Biotechnology /Horticulture / Life Sciences/ biotechnology or equivalent with specialization in plant molecular biology/plant genomics / phytocellular technology having at least eleven years research experience or Ph.D. in the above subjects with at least ten years research experience.
• Scientist – E: 01 Post (Natural Product Chemistry)
• Pay: Rs. 37400-67000+GP 8700
• Qualification:1st class M.Sc. in Biochemistry/Phytochemistry/Organic Chemistry or equivalent with specialization in natural product chemistry having at least eleven years research experience or Ph.D in the above subjects with at least ten years research experience.
• Scientist – E: 01 Post (Aquaculture)
• Pay: Rs. 37400-67000+GP 8700
• Qualification:  1st class M.Sc. in Fishery Sciences/Zoology or equivalent with specialization in aquaculture with at least eleven years research experience or Ph.D. in the above subjects with at least ten years research experience.
• Scientist – C: 01 Post (Natural Product Chemistry)
• Pay: Rs. 15600-39100+GP 6600
• Qualification: 1st class M.Sc. in Biochemistry/Phytochemistry/Organic Chemistry or equivalent with specialization in natural product chemistry having at least five years research experience or Ph.D in the above subjects with at least four years research experience.
• Scientist – C: 01 Post (Economic Entomology)
• Pay: Rs. 15600-39100+GP 6600
• Qualification:1st class M.Sc. in Life Sciences/Zoology/Entomology or equivalent with specialization in economic Entomology having at least five years research experience or Ph.D. in the above subjects with at least four years research experience.
• Stores and Purchase Officer (on contractual basis): 01 Post
• Pay: Rs. 20,000/- p.m. (Consolidated)
• Qualification: Graduate degree (preferably in commerce) from a recognized University. Preference will be given to candidates with PG diploma in materials management with minimum  3- years experience in Government /autonomous bodies or an organization of repute.  Candidates should be well versed with local and foreign purchase, import and export and also have analytical and good communication skill (oral and written)
• POSTS IN REGIONAL CENTRE OF IBSD AT GANGTOK, SIKKIM
• Scientist: 01 Post (Plant Bioresources)
• Pay: Rs. 48,000/- p.m. (Consolidated)
• Qualification: 1st class M.Sc. with seventeen years experience or 1st class M.Tech. / MD / MVsc / M.Pharm / M.Biotech with sixteen years Research and Development experience or Ph.D. or corresponding degrees in relevant disciplines with original work as evidenced by patents or publications. Evidence of leadership with sixteen years or R&D experience.
• Scientist: 01 Post (Microbial Resources)
• Pay: Rs. 30,000/- p.m. (Consolidated)
• Essential Qualification: 1st class M.Sc. in Life Sciences / Microbiology / Biotechnology with three years R&D experience or Ph.D. with one year post doctoral experience in the relevant field.
• Administrative Officer: 01 Post
• Pay: Rs. 25,000/- p.m. (Consolidated)
• Qualification: Graduate degree, preferably in commerce with Post Graduate Degree / Diploma in Administration or Human Resource Management with a minimum of 2 years experience in handling administration and personnel matters.

• PLANT PROTECTION SPECIALIST
• Required Educational Qualification and Experience : M.Sc. (Agri.)/M.Sc. in Plant Pathology/ M.Sc. in Entomology/ M.Sc. (Botany), Ph.D., 5 years’ Research Experience in the specialized field/subject in tea diseases and pest control or in plantation crops diseases and pests.
• RESEARCH OFFICER: 01 Post
• Required Educational Qualification : M.Sc. (1st Class) in Life Sciences / Agriculture with working experiences in research projects.
• Age: Around 45 years, may be relaxed in case of experienced candidates.
