4 things that arouse women

After two decades of studying women's arousal, a sex therapist and a sex researcher has identified four primary types of arousal in women.

The erotic map of women is unique to each individual as it consists of genetics, throbbing hormones and erotic experiences that were 'imprinted' during early adolescence, researchers say.

As we go through life, these erotic maps change slightly as we experience different types of sex and are altered by our environment, stress level, health and partner dynamics.

While each person's erotic map is different, there are general themes that run through the erotic maps of women, the Huffington Post reported.

According to Petra Zebroff, each female has four types of arousal influencing her overall pattern, but it is usually only one or two arousal themes that are the real driving forces.

When a woman knows her primary pattern of arousal, she can have much better sex. It allows her to tap into her arousal when she wants it, as well as reach orgasm more quickly.

Also, if her partner understands her "arousal type" he/she will have a map to better arouse her.

Conversely, if she knows what arousal type her partner is, she will be much more likely to make her partner's sexual dreams come true, and thus increasing intimacy in the relationship.

Just as there are different types of learning like visual, auditory and kinetic, there are different types of sexual arousal.

The four sexual arousal types that have been identified are - the sensual type, the cognitive type, the intimacy type and the attractor type.

The Sensual Type is body-oriented and relies on the senses like touch, smell, taste to fuel arousal. They get hot by the sensation of their skin being stroked, smelling a delicious scent or tasting something erotic.

The Cognitive Type is head-oriented, relying on thoughts and imagination to drive sexual feelings. This type is fuelled erotically by thinking about or seeing certain sexual acts. Fantasy and porn are important tools used by the cognitive type to imagine different acts in their erotic map.

The Intimacy Type's primary motivation is to "connect" with their partner. They thrive when they share with him/her, or when they feel that he/she "gets" them.

The Attractor Type gets his/her arousal from arousing their partner. Their main source of arousal is when their partner finds them sexy and appreciates them. Being 'seen' is important to this type.

India to run out of phone numbers by next year

CHENNAI: It was inevitable, but it is now closer than ever. All the phone numbers series currently in use, like the ones beginning with 98 or 99, are quickly getting used up with the subscriber base in the country expected to reach a billion and beyond by next year.

"There might be a serious problem if a new series of numbers are not brought in by the middle of next year. We are theoretically reaching the limit of existing number sets with a subscriber base of one billion," said Rajan Mathews, director general of Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI).

The solution may lie in 11-digit phone numbers but Department of Telecom (DoT) is also looking at alternatives.


Mathews said allocation of numbers to operators is done in batches, depending on factors like the size of subscriber base and efficiency in utilizing existing number sets, among other things.

A batch system is followed to avoid chaos due to all kinds of phone numbers flooding the market.

Since a particular range of numbers is given to an operator, it generally has an identifier like the first two digits, for example 98 or 99, which come to be associated with that operator.

"None of these number ranges can be used to their full extent due to the way in which they are allotted. Only a certain portion of these numbers are used as phone numbers. This is called percentage of numbering system utilization and it hovers around 50%, meaning only around half or more of the potential numbers are used as phone numbers," said Sandip Biswas, director at consultancy firm Deloitte.

"The numbers will have to be increased by at least one digit to accommodate new devices. However, to ensure there's absolutely no scope for any problem, we may even see the introduction of 12 digit numbers," said Biswas.

However, Mathews said that a similar proposal was given to DoT by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (Trai), which DoT didn't take up. "DoT said that it may need remapping of networks and there might be issues conforming to international numbering standards too. DoT hasn't rejected the idea completely but is looking into alternatives," said Mathews.

Some measures have been taken to address the situation. "Trai has made some recommendations like getting rid of inactive users to free up phone numbers and getting more than a million landline numbers to be used in the mobile domain," said Mathews. "While these are small numbers in the overall picture, they can help for another three-six months."

Biswassaid that 2G spectrum redistribution will be a positive step in this direction. "The numbering system in general is dependent on the number of subscribers. However, it is a different situation after mobility came into picture. Today, devices ranging from cars to tablets to washing machines are connected to networks," said Biswas.

Andhra woman shot dead in US, grandkid abducted

HYDERABAD/ONGOLE: A 61-year-old woman from Andhra Pradesh was gunned down by unidentified assailants in King of Prussia area in Pennsylvania state in the United States when she resisted the kidnap of her 10-month-old granddaughter. The abductors fled with the baby girl, Saavni Venna, after killing Venna Satyavathamma at the apartment of her elder son Siva Prasad Reddy on Monday afternoon.

Satyavathamma, a resident of Kudumulakuntla village in Hanumanthunipadu mandal of Prakasam district, had gone to King of Prussia in upper Merion township in Montgomery county six months ago to assist her daughter-in-law Latha in bringing up the child. Both sons of the deceased - Siva Prasad and Krishna Reddy - work with software majors in the US, while Latha works as a software engineer.

The search for the 10-month-old girl continued with the FBI investigating the case. Authorities said the baby was last seen at around 1 pm on Monday at the Marquis Apartments near King Circle.

According to information reaching here, at least three armed assailants entered Siva Prasad's apartment and tried to take away his daughter. Satyavathamma fought with them and the assailants opened fire killing her on the spot. Prasad and Latha were away when the incident took place.

A pall of gloom has descended on Kudumula village soon after the information about the killing of Satyavathamma reached. Satyavathamma's husband Velugonda Reddy is a retired headmaster.

Apple unveils 7.9-inch iPad Mini at $329

NEW DELHI: Apple on Tuesday unveiled iPad Mini, a smaller version of the original iPad, with a 7.9-inch touchscreen and Retina display technology, starting at $329.

iPad Mini runs on dual-core A5 processor, FaceTime HD camera and 5MP iSight camera (with1080p recording). This tablet will compete with the likes of Google Nexus 7, Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 and Amazon Kindle Fire HD.

The company also refreshed the regular iPad, launched in March this year and made it faster and added the new 8-pin Lightening dock, which was introduced in September with iPhone 5.

The tablet now also runs on a brand new A6X processor, which provides it with twice the CPU and graphics processing capabilities. It can now work on 4G LTE networks and Wi-Fi, and still offers the same 10 hours of promised battery life.

The new iPad Mini runs on iOS 6 and features the 8-pin Lightning dock. Battery back-up of the all-new Apple iPad Mini will be 10 hours, same as that of the full-sized iPad.

According to Phil Schiller, Apple's senior vice president of worldwide marketing, iPad Mini has 35% extra screen space than routine 7-inch tablets, its current rivals. Since iPad Mini has the same screen resolution, all existing apps for iPad will run smoothly.

Apple is offering the Wi-Fi only iPad Mini in 16, 32 and 64GB capacities at $329, $429 and $519 respectively. For the 4G-compatible versions of the device, users will have to shell out an additional $130 for each variant. iPad mini and ipad 4G will be up for pre-orders on Oct 26. The Wi-Fi versions will start shipping on November 2, while the cellular-enabled models will hit the shelves two weeks later.

Apple also refreshed its computer line-up today by unveiling new versions of iMac, 13-inch MacBook Pro and Mac mini.

Before his death, Apple founder Steve Jobs had in 2010 vehemently opposed the idea of a smaller iteration of the Apple's tablet, though company documents have revealed that he warmed up to the idea later on.

However, 7-inch tablets have done well in the market and gained traction worldwide, specially at lower price points. In India, the market for budget tablets is booming and many companies have 7-inch Android tablets priced at under Rs 10,000.

The launch of iPad Mini indicates that Apple is changing its strategy with respect to lower-priced Android tablets. Samsung tab Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 is the highest priced tablet among the competitors of iPad Mini and costs approximately Rs 28,000, a price point that Apple's small tablet is unlikely to hit. It is positioned in the $350 segment, where the 7-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 is at present. If Apple maintains this pricing for India, then it would be offering a new, technologically up-to-date product to consumers at a lower price than its bitter rival.

Another challenger for Apple iPad Mini is Google Nexus 7, which is expected to cost less than Rs 20,000 in India. Apple iPad Mini might lose some customers to Google due to its higher pricing, which would put the iPad Mini out of reach of the segment that prefers lower-priced tablets. But with its cutting edge features, the iPad Mini may entice a new segment of buyer that prefers iPad.

Vishnu Irritated with Censor Board

Finally,manchu vishnu 's 'Denikaina Ready' was re-censored and was awarded U/A certificate.Apart from the previous cuts, the members of the board are heard to have suggested two more cuts to the movie. The movie is releasing on 24th October around 800 screens world wide. However, Vishnu expressed his concern over the attitude of the board. He tweeted as, " it's very funny that person who doesn't know telugu giving censor certificate for telugu movies."

Happy Birthday to Mr. Prabhas

Given the selection of the projects and their box office fate,  Prabhas has achieved a lot as one of the top stars of tollywood. We have seen him in angry young man roles in the movies such as, 'Chatrapathi', 'Billa' etc. In contrast he appeared as youthful romantic guy in the movies like, 'Darling', 'Mr.Perfect' etc. Obviously, it is evident that Prabhas is a right mix of both class and mass elements in him. Moreover, he is considered to be the macho man of tollywood. He earned lot of ladies following due to his perfect physique, cool and decent attitude. 

Currently, Prabhas is doing a romantic and family entertainer 'Mirchi', which is slated for release for Pongal, 2013. Koratala Siva, the film dialogue writer, is making his debut as a director of this movie. However, it is ace director Rajamouli's project, which is creating tremors among the other heroes of tollywood. Tammareddy's Free Advises to Pawan's Fans

The president of the film chamber, Thammareddy Bharadwaja has talked about the controversy on 'Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu'. He said that the makers of the movie should have been careful in dealing sensitive issues in the movie. It is a known thing that the director Shankar has received threatening calls from unknown numbers. Speaking about this issue, Thammareddy advised Pawan Kalyan's fans not to indulge in these kind of acts, as their hero gets bad name through these acts.

Hearing Thammareddy's advises on Pawan Kalyan's fans, one of the observers said that these kind of people always come forward to give advises for free of cost. However, when the fans of heroes take up any charitable activities, they do not come forward to encourage them. Meanwhile, some of the cine folks are expressing their doubts whether the phone calls were made by any miscreants in the name of Pawan's fans.

Tearful farewell to Yash Chopra

Bedecked with flowers, Chopra's body was brought to the Pawan Hans crematorium in Juhu in an ambulance, with only family members and close friends inside, including his sons Aditya and Uday, and actors Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan.

The mortal remains of the 80-year-old filmmaker were consigned to flames amid the presence of his family members, relatives and a number of Bollywood celebrities. The body was kept at the Yash Raj Films studio since last night for people to pay their respects. Several Bollywood celebrities including Rani Mukerji, Preity Zinta, Prasoon Joshi, Mukesh Bhatt, Raj Kundra, Suresh Oberoi, Siddharth Roy Kapoor, Kiran Rao, Rohit Shetty, Bharat Shah, Adnan Sami, Rajpal Yadav and Homi Adjania were present at the crematorium.

There was chaos outside the Yash Raj Films studio as hundreds of people turned up to catch a glimpse of the filmmaker. Chopra passed away at the Lilavati hospital at 5.30 PM yesterday due to dengue and multiple organ failure. Salman Khan, Karan Johar, Dilip Kumar with wife Sairo Banu, Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Jaya, Madhur Bhandarkar, Anil Kapoor, Sridevi, Boney Kapoor, Kajol, Dimple Kapadia, Rinkie Khanna and others started coming since yesterday at Lilavati hospital, his residence in Juhu and YRF studio in Andheri to pay their last respects.

Chopra, who celebrated his 80th birthday on September 27, had announced his retirement from direction after a career spanning five decades. 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan', his 22nd and last film, starring SRK, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma, is slated to release on November 13. A song from the film was to be shot in Switzerland on a grand level but the trip had to be cancelled after Chopra was admitted to Lilavati hospital on October 13.

Halt to screening of "Rambabu", complaint against Puri

The screening of the film 'Cameraman Ganga tho Rambabu' has been affected in some parts of Telangana region. 

A committee which was appointed by the government has recommended some cuts and according to their recommendation director Puri Jagannadh has deleted as many as 12 scenes from the movie.

However, the Telangana Rastra Samithi leaders are not satisfied with that. TRS on Monday filed a complaint with the Banjara Hills police station against Puri Jagannadh seeking action against him saying some scenes have hurt the sentiments of Telanagana people.

Stating that the director has made an attempt to divide people on caste lines, TRS leaders in their complaint, accused him of provoking students and sought action against him. However, Puri Jagannadh has appealed to TRS leaders to allow screening of the film as the objectionable scenes were already deleted. But TRS leaders charged Puri with snubbing the movement on separate Telangana and demanded a complete ban on the film.

Prabhas gets Mahesh’s title

Young Rebel Star latest film Varadhi(working title) had been changed. The movie is directed  by Koratala Siva and the movie is titled Mirchi.

There were gossips that Mahesh Babu new movie is titled as Mirchi, but it left as a gossip. Now the title is confirmed for Prabhas movie. There was a gossip that Mr.Perfect title is under consideration for Mahesh, but it finally worked for Prabhas.

The shooting of the film is going on at full swing. The movie unit had just returned Hyderabad after completing a songs schedule in Europe. The last schedule of the movie will begin very soon.Vamshi Krishna Reddy and Pramod Uppalapati jointly produced the film under banner of UV Creations banner. Devi Sri Prasad is the music composer of the movie.
