At the time of businessman release he announced a sequel of it as the movie got huge openings at boxoffice. Mahesh also welcomed the offer. 'Infact i am excited to do the movie if Puri makes' he said. However, it seems that Puri is not interested. "I will make a movie with Mahesh Babu but it is not "Businessman" Sequel. It will be a new movie with different story" he said. He didn't tell why he changed his mind. Presently he is working for "Cameraman gangatho rambabu". After that he will do a movie with Allu Arjun's "Iddarammayilatho..". That means there are chances for Mahesh movie to go on sets in mid 2013.

"I didn't wrote such type of stories after "Nuvvu Naaku Nachav",  My next movie with pawan Kalyan will be same like that movie" he added. Pawan also got lot of gap doing such type of films. Pawan chose same stories in Tammudu and Toliprema. But he changed his way of thinking after Kushi hit.
