Pay Scale : Rs. 11535-28865 Stipend of Rs.19165/- per month during training period.

Qualification : Bachelor’s Degree of a University in India established under a statute or a foreign university approved for the purpose or the Fellowship of Insurance Institute of India, Mumbai. Preference may be given to those applicants who possess Masters Degree in Business Administration in Marketing or Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing from a University in India established under Statute or by an Institute approved by AICTE or a recognized Institution.

Preference would be given to candidates who have at least 2 years experience in life insurance industry 


Age : 21-30 years as on 01/11/2012. Relaxation in age as per rules.

Selection Procedure : Selection will be made on the basis of a Online Test 02/02/2013 and 03/02/2013.

Application Fee : Rs. 500/- (No fee for SC/ST) by Fees Payment Challan only at any branch of State Bank of India. The receipt should be kept with yourself and should be produced at the time of written test.

Agricultural Scientists’ Recruitment Board (ASRB) will hold a Competitive ARS Examination – 20012 for filling up the 431 vacancies of Scientists in Agricultural Research Service (ARS) in the pay scale of Rs. 15600-39100 grade pay Rs.6000 in the ICAR Institutes in various disciplines :
 Examination : Preliminary – ARS Examination – 2012 on 24/02/2013 (Sunday) from 02.00 pm to 04.00 pm. (ii) ARS – Main Examination – 2012 on 23/06/2013 (Sunday) from 10.00 am to 01.00 pm.  


Age : A candidate seeking admission to the Agricultural Research Service must have attained the age of 21 years but not have attained the age of 32 years as on 01/08/2012
Qualification  : A candidate must have a Master's degree or equivalent in the concerned subject on or before 31/10/2012.

NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY TEST (NET) EXAMINATION-2012

Agricultural Scientists’ Recruitment Board (ASRB) will hold on20/01/2013, Now 24/02/2013 a NET Examination – 2012.

NET is a qualifying examination for determining eligibility for Lecturer / Assistant Professor in the State Agricultural Universities (SAUs) and other Agricultural Universities (AUs). Candidates clearing the National Eligibility Test will be eligible for Lecturers or Assistant Professors in the SAUs/AUs. NET Certificates will be issued to the candidates by the A.S.R.B. to the qualified candidates to enable them to apply against vacancies to be notified or advertised by the State Agricultural Universities. SAUs/AUs will consider their eligibility through interview or any such other tests as devised for recruitment of Lecturers or Assistant Professors.

  • NET : Qualification : A candidate must possess a Master’s degree or equivalent in the concerned discipline with specialization completed on or before 1st August, 2012., Age : 21 years as on 0/08/2012. There is no upper age limit for the National Eligibility Test.
Fee : The candidates seeking admission to examination must pay to the Board a fee of Rs. 1000/- (Rs.500/- for OBC and Rs. 250/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates) through a Crossed Bank Draft only, drawn in favour of Secretary, ASRB and payable at New Delhi with the application form. Candidates should write their name and address on the reverse of the Bank Draft.
