Yevadu has started to create collections record at box office. On the first day it minted Rs.9 crore. As it was Released on Sunday, plus it is a sankranthi season and also mahesh 1 got divide talk, so obviously these became positives for the film.
After Atharintiki Daredi this is the only movie which got Highest collections said dil raju. As Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday are holidays, the collections may be in the same range. If this happens Yevadu will garner some profits in this season.

Talking about this film he said" I had a feeling that haven't done any big budget films in my career but my dream fulfilled with yevadu. Yevadu is unforgettable movie in my 40 years career. Yevadu is all about the war between the one who scares others and the one who never gets afraid".
Talking about Ram charan he said " There are power-packed scenes between me and ram charan. Charan has more dialogues than me. He used to frequently come near me while filming and cleared each and every doubt. He is very dedicated towards work. Yevadu will be a festival to ram charan fans".
