Special Class Railway Apprentices' Examination, 2011

The UPSC will old the Special Class Railway Apprentices' Examination, 2011 on 31.07,2011 for recruitment to the Special Class Apprentices in the Mechanical Department of Indian Railways:

• Conditions of Eligibility: 
• Age: Not less than 17 years and not more than 21 years as on 01.08.2011
• Qualification: Must have passed in the first or second division, the Intermediate or an equivalent examination of an University or Board approved by the Government of India with Mathematics and atleast one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as subjects of the Examination.
• Physical Standards: Candidates must be physically fit according to the Regulations given in Appendix - II of the Rules for Special Class Railway Apprentices' Examination, 2011 published in the Gazette of India dated 26.03.2011 
• Last Date: 
• ONLINE: 25.04.2011
• OFFLINE: 25.04.2011 (02.05.2011 in case of candidates from far_flung areas)
