A New Mobile phone was launched by Vodafone with the support of Facebook and is now in to the market with the name of 'Vodafone Blue'. Now this product is available for use in Indian Markets. It is being called as Vodafone 555 in UK and other countries. It is a 2.4'' QVGA non-touch device with 320X240 pixel resolution.Some of the features of this mobile phone is its Querty key pad, Optical track pad, Opera 5 browser, 2 MP Camera, Blue tooth, 16 GB expandable memory, and a special dedicated 'f' button (Facebook short key) for Facebook lovers.
The speciality of this mobile is , the users can easily access facebook and can interact with friends and can share the data and can post a status update with photos from the gallery or with links from the browser. Users can upload the photos and can see the profiles. The special offer from the Vodafone is the users can access Facebook freely for a year. Vodafone which is well known for successful marketing campaigns to its credit like BlackBerry Boys and Zoo Zoos, is set to break its TV campaign for the Vodafone Blue next week.This Vodafone Blue works in 2G networks and does not support Facebook’s social games like Farm ville and City ville.
Vodafone has fixed the price for this model at INR 4950.
