Job Description
We are looking for a Cab development engineer in the area of Hydraulic Excavators OE&I development, who can understand, design and develop operator station (Cab) & its components for LRC market, perform concept design of the requirements using Pro/E (Wildfire) and collaborate with local suppliers to deliver cabs. The candidate should possess high levels of initiative, self motivation, commitment, excellent communication skills and should be able to work with a wide cross-functional team. Job responsibilities may be increased based on candidates qualifications and experience to deliver higher complex projects.
Expertise :
Required skills :
An engineering degree with minimum 5 - 6 years of hands-on experience with product development and project management
Knowledge of product life cycle, APQP, CPPD activities
Working experience with Pro/E
Prior experience working with a cross functional teams for the product development
Knowledge of cab engineering and operator environment
Knowledge of various manufacturing processes
Experience of development of metallic and non metallic cab components.
Nice-to-have skills :
Design & development experience of ROPS/ Non-ROPS Cab structures and non-metallics
Good knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD &T)
Knowledge about Cab assembly process. Engineering data management experience (requirements specifications, drawings etc)
6 Sigma Green Belt experience
