'No One Killed Jessica' gets A certification

Censor board has awarded the A-certificate to “No One Killed Jessica”  which was  based on a real murder. This movie was okayed by the censor board without any cuts. Movie makers hailed the decision of the censor board saying that they were happy because they will be now  able to take the actual story to the audience .
 Vikas Behl, a senior official of UTV(which  produced the film)  commented hats off to the censor board for their decision.
“No One Killed Jessica” directed by Rajkumar Gupta is based on ramp model Jessica Lall’s murder case. Vidya Balan will be playing the role of Jessica’s sister Sabrina who fought for justice of her sister. Rani rani mukherjee plays a role of journalist in the film.
The movie cleared several restrictions posed by different members like former top cop Amodh Kanth who urged the censor board to ensure that only facts relating to the Jessica Lall murder case should be presented in “No One Killed Jessica”. He was the joint commissioner of police (southern range) when Jessica was shot dead in a night club by Manu Sharma, the son of a Haryana politician in 1999. Manu Sharma was given  a life sentence verdict by the Supreme Court.

This movie is set to release on Jan 7th.

Anil Kapoor turns 51

Bollywood's famous actor 'Mr.India' turns 51 today i.e on 24th dec. “I am looking forward to my birthday on Dec 24 and I will celebrate it with my friends,” Anil said in an interview.
Though he is celebrating his birthday with his buddies today due to jam-packed shooting schedule of the super-spy series “Mission  Impossible” in  Vancouver, canada..the Actor is planning to celebrate his birthday eve with his family for the New Year. The actor reveals he will “have a holiday with family in Goa”.

Dabangg Bags five Awards

Salman Khan’s recent block buster “Dabangg” had claimed  five trophies at the Big Star Entertainment awards here Tuesday night i.e on 21st december. This is the first function to be held by Big Star Entertainment to distribute film awards. Recent hit Dabangg name was heard sound at awards distribution. Dabangg hero Salman Khan won the most entertaining film actor award and Dharmendra bagged the Big star entertainer for 50 years of glory. It also won best film, best director, best entertaining song (”Munni badnaam hui”) and best male singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan for the song “Mast mast do nain”. Many other winners of different categories were also announced at the same event and the awards distribution function will be aired Dec 31 on Star TV.

Deepika Padukone expressed her wish to act with three top stars

 Having being successfully casted in Nine Bollywood films during the past Four years, Bollywood Actress Deepika Padukone seems to be now looking forward to pair with Bollywood Superstars Hrithik Roshan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan.
Deepika Padukone emerged as top heroine  in Bollywood with the movie 'Om Shanti Om' co-starring Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan and Arjun Rampal. Comedy Movies battle in Bollywood

Anees Bazmi's "No Problem" could pose a good competition  to Yashraj's Film "Band Baaja Baaraat" , as both the films are slated to release on December 10th. But what remains as a question is that who wins this battle of the comedies.
When asked about this clash director Anees said "I won't believe in lucky dates, but I do believe in commitments. We had decided to release 'No Problem' on Dec 10th long ago and  I have three releases next year, so I should  get the film out of the way this year. We worked hard for the speedy  finish of 'No Problem' and announced  release date months ago. It was only later we heard Band Baja Baaraat is going to come on the same date" .
This is not the first time in bollywood that a clash arise between two big-budget films. "Gol Maal 2" and "Action Replayy" were previous ones that were released on Diwali this year and one of them had to go out of race.

Salman Khan to act with Priyanka Chopra

Earlier Prem Raj Soni did a movie with same pair titled  Main Aur Mrs. Khanna i.e with Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor . The same pair (Salman Khan and Priyanka Chopra) will play the lead roles in Prem Raj Soni’s upcoming film titled 'I Am Hariprasad'.
The director quoted thst I Am Hariprasad is not a love story entirely but it has lot of humour & drama included.The film will be co-produced by a big production house and will go on floors in the middle of next year. As of now Priyanka is busy with her shooting schedule which may be the reason for the further delay to go on steps.

Ashutosh Gowarikar's movie gets U/A certificate

One of the movies in the bollywood in the list of release dates nearby i.e ' Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey ' has been in the news again , the film is in the spotlight this time for its certification. This Ashutosh gowarikar's film has been given a U/A certificate by censor board. The board claimed the justification for the same being that the violence in the film is towards children and therefore parental guidance is compulsory while watching the movie.
This movie is based on the Chittagong revolt against Britishers, it had a lot of kids who fought in it, most of them were minors. Therefore the film shows a lot of young actors in violent situations Says Sunita Gowarikar, "The film has a lot of children who will die for the cause of freedom in battle field . This is the cause for Censor Board to opine that kids must be accompanied with parents who can explain the relevance and context to them. " When asked if she is happy with the Censor Board's decision, she said, "I am myself a mother of two kids and I completely understand the Censor Board's stance."

'Guzaarish' moved Hrithik Roshan

Guzaarish is the latest crush of bollywood that is going to be released on Nov 19th focussing Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai in lead pair. What makes one to think about the movie is that the role of Hrithik Roshan in the movie. It is heard that the role of Hrithik is a person who suffers with a disease called quadriplegia(related to spinal cord) and Aish as a nurse who takes care of him. Aamir's 'Delhi belly' to be released on Jan 2011..?

With the success attained from Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, Aamir selected his nephew Imran khan for the lead role. 'Delhi Belly', a upcoming Bollywood Crime-comedy film, revolves around several characters in Delhi. The film is being produced by Aamir Khan  under his own banner Aamir Khan Productions in association with UTV Motion Pictures. Abhinay Deo, is the director of the movie. The movie had long span of shooting since its inception from August 2008 and is scheduled to complete sooner to release in january 2011.

John Abraham sentenced a '15 day' Jail term

                                          

This sentence is with reference to the incident happened in the year2006. It was alleged that John abraham rammed his 1100cc Yamaha bike over a motor bike carrying two persons, while he was returning from Maureen Wadia’s Gladrags Show where he was one of the judges. Ater many proceedings Bandra sessions court Mumbai sentenced a 15 day jail term and a penalty of Rs.1500 for Rash driving reason on 14th october. No sooner the verdict came, Abraham got released on Bail of Rs.1500. Sources said that John will approach the Sessions Court against the sentence. He had said that the accident that occurred in 2006 was ‘unfortunate’ and appealed people to drive safe. He added that he loves safe driving. John will be busy promoting his film Jhootha Hi Sahi.
