The film is directed and produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah.Story part is Written by Suresh Nair, Aatish Kapadia. It is the fifth film between Akshay Kumar and Vipul Amrutlal Shah. The duo ('Aishwarya Rai' and 'Akshay Kumar') plays the role of a couple who always fights with each other and rekindles love on their 33rd marriage anniversary. Akshay Kumar said that his look is particularly inspired from Sunil Dutt’s look in Zakhmee.I was stilled with “Big bottoms, long collars, vibrant colors likethe 1970s was so lively,” adds Akshay Kumar. Action Replayy is set to 'Diwali release' i.e. on Nov 5th.
