Kajal Agarwal roped in for Krishna Vamsi's project ....

Director Krishna Vamsi's first movie with Hero Gopichand reportedly titled as Mogudu. Another latest development is that hot chick Kajal Agarwal is bagged in to play leading female role for this project. This is yet to be confirmed officially by film makers. How ever this movie is expected to be a romantic entertainer and is going to be produced by Nallamalupu Bujji under Bhavya Creations banner.

Krishnudu says 'Naaku O Lover Vundi'

Small movies hero Krishnudu who impre ssed the audience with the films like Vinayakudu and Village Lo Vinayakudu, will play the hero in the film titled Naaku O Lover Vundi. This movie will be directed by debutant director K Ram Venki who is known to be a former associate of K Raghavender Rao.  Naaku O Lover Vundi will be produced by K Suresh Babu under the banner of Sri Sivaparvathi Combines. New introductee to Tollywood  Rithika plays the heroine role in the movie. KM Radha Krishna scores the music for this film. The regular shooting of the film will start from February 14. The star cast includes MS Narayana, Ali, Hema, Ushasri, Geetha Singh, Ananth, Dhanraj, Prithvi, Gundu Hanumantha Rao and others.

Naga Chaitanya as 'Autonagar Surya'

Young hero Naga Chaitanya bags yet another promising project by Deva Katta. Autonagar Surya is the title of the new film lapped by Naga Chaitanya and it is directed by Prasthanam director Deva Katta. This movie will be presented by RR Movie Makers and produced by Achi Reddy on Max India banner. PRP Merges With Congress Party

Today a historical event took place at the residence of AICC President Sonia Gandhi. Praja Rajyam Chief K.Chiranjeevi has decided to merge his party into INC(Indian National Congress) after the meeting with Sonia. Later chiranjeevi held a press meet along with Union Law Minister N. Veerappa Moily. Moily said that congress party whole-heartedly welcomes the decision of Chiranjeevi and he is the congress man from then onwards. While Chiru said that he's stick to the Principles for which his party was found i.e for Social Justice, Welfare of the Common Man and cause for Polavaram Project. He also added that this merger will give him a big platform to handle and address the issues of down trodden and backward people.

This development had raised new political equations in the state of Andhra Pradesh and it is interesting to see what will be the role that will be played by chiru in the shade of Congress. Some underground news gossip that he was offered with five minister posts as a treaty with congress. Now it seems that politics in AP got more interesting ever before. Hope Chiru goes well in his new party .

Krishna Vamsi to direct Gopichand ....

Director Krishna Vamsi will direct a movie with Gopichand as hero. It is the first movie in the combination of Gopichand and Krishna Vamsi. Nallamalupu Srinivas (Bujji) will produce it on Lakshmi Narasimha banner. This film is expected as a family entertainer and the shooting will begin in March. Kalyani Malik is selected as music director and  Sameer Reddy is the Camera man.This movie is also first for Kalyani Malik and Krishna Vamshi combination.

Manchivadu releasing on March 2nd.

A  romantic comedy movie Manchivadu directed by P Lakshminarayana starring Tanish as hero will release on March 2nd. The director had made a debut in Tollywood with his directorial Andalaramudu.

RB Chowdhary is presenting the movie. Bhama is debuting with this film. Chandramohan, Raghubabu, Sudha, Jayanthi, Chalapati Rao are the main characters in the movie.

Producer Paras Jain is confident that this movie will be a hit. Their earlier movies Raja, Priyamaina Neeku also released on Mahashivaratri day became hits. Another important aspect of this film is K Viswanath who is playing an important role in the movie.

Deeksha Seth selected for Oo Kodathara Ulikki Padathara

Sizzling actress Deeksha Seth will pair with Manchu Manoj in Oo Kodathara Ulikki Padathara produced by Lakshmi Manchu on Lakshmi Prasanna banner.Actually Samantha was the first choice for the movie but she had not shown interest in the movie. Manchu Manoj is the hero of this film. Manoj’s last movie Jhummandi Naadam produced by Lakshmi Manchu was an average grosser.
The shooting of the movie is expected to begin this month but the delay may continue as Manchu Manoj is taking rest in US due to an injury.

Pawan Kalyan’s remake-movie name finalised.

Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s Love Aaj Kal remake has finally got the title -- ‘Teenmaar’ ( taglined ‘Celebration of Love’). Rumors went upto now that this movie was titled as Lovely and Kushiga by the media and they were just considered but not finalized. Teen Maar title is officially confirmed as Pawan Kalyan & Co felt this was more appealing and universal. Teenmaar is a frequently used word and in general it is meant to be a mass frenzy dance during celebrations. Pawan Kalyan plays dual role in Teenmaar and Trisha is paired up with him as the female lead. Kriti Karbhanda plays an important role. Manisharma is the music director of the film and Trivikram penned the dialogues for this film.

Aha Naa Pellanta releasing on February 18.

Allari Naresh's latest film Aha Naa Pellanta directed by Veerabhadra and produced by Anil Sunkara under AK Entertainment banner is slated for release on feb 18th. The film stars Allari Naresh  Srihari, Ritu Barmecha in lead roles. Aha Naa Pellanta is in final stages of post production. Raghu Kunche has composed the music and the audio was released on January 26. The film's a full length family comedy entertainer and it has a tag line 'Match Fixing'. Brahmanandam, Ahuti Prasad, Jayaprakash Reddy, Subbaraju, Nagineedu and others are playing important roles in this film.

Nayantara to stop acting after marriage.....

Heroine Nayantara has decided to say good bye to her film career.The actress made her mind to stop acting after her current movie Sri RamaRajyam and go private with her married life. So she stopped accepting forthcoming offers. Sources close to Nayantara said she took this decision as her sweet heart Prabhu Deva has asked her to quit acting. Of course she is an Indian woman and hence she is following her fiancé’s word like any other common girl. On the rumors front she made it clear that her relation with Prabhu Deva is quite fine. Sizzling actress says “I was offered a role in Kaavalan opposite Vijay but my decision is made by that time. I have only one film in Telugu which is titled Sri RamaRajyam, where I play the role of Sita the incarnation of Indian woman. I am blessed to play this role and also glad that my farewell to the industry is with such a great character which has huge scope for acting”. The couple is planning for a grand wedding in Chennai around July.

Salman dislikes the term ‘Bollywood’.

Muscle man Salman Khan, one of the leading stars of ‘Bollywood’, tweeted that he dislikes the term 'Bollywood'
Recently, the actor through the micro-blogging site twitter said that Bollywood is not the name of our industry and has come from Hollywood.
His Tweets are:
“Hate this bloody name , bollywood , koi naam hai kya ? Disgusting .”

“Hollywood se bollywood naam nikla, this is nt the name of our industry. Don't kno whr this ridiculous name has cm frm n got stuck”

“Bollywood was fr wen mumbai was called bombay toh kya shld it nt b called mumllywood,hw ridiculous is it.it makes us look like chamchas”

“1 of the 1 st film production was called bombay talkie's so call it that or mumbai tal... Or indian cinema,call it any thing but nt boll..”

By observing his tweets there seems the demand to change the Bollywood name will rise. As the Salman suggested that "wood" should be removed, there is increment in search for the new title to Bollywood. There are new words coming in use like Hindi Film Industry/Bombay Talkies etc...

Yash Raj's movie with SRK ...

Bollywood’s renowned film production banner Yash Raj Films is going to produce a film with The King of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan. It will be directed by Yash Chopra. Angelic beauty Katrina Kaif is likely to pair opposite King Khan (Yet to be confirmed).  Though there is no official confirmation on the date of the film launch, a close hand reveals that it is likely to be in April.
After Veer-Zaara, released in 2004, this is Shah Rukh Khan’s next film with Yash Chopra.

KSD Appalaraju Postponed for the third time

Katha Screenplay Darsakathvam Appalaraju directed by Ram Gopal Varma has been postponed yet again due to delay in post-production. The producer of the film has earlier stated that the film releases on 4th February, later it was postponed to 10th February and now, the movie is yet again postponed to 18th of this month. The makers of the film are yet to complete the post-production works and this is the reason for delay of the release. Sunil, Swathi and Sakshi are playing the key roles in this comedy oriented film

'LBW' --- releasing on Feb 18th

‘LBW’ with the  tagline Life Before Wedding has got its release date out i.e on Feb 18th. The movie was directed by Praveen Sattaru a debutant to tollywood with this film and produced by  Naveen Sattaru and Deborah under a new production house working dream productions. Recently, the film has completed its censor formalities and it has been awarded with clean ‘U’  certificate.
The film director Praveen Sattaru said that LBW is not only a love story but also depicts human relations. It is a story about the youth and their opinions towards love and marriage. It teaches the importance of love and marriage for today’s generation.’Siddharth, Abhijeet, Asif Raj, Rohan Gudlavalleti, Chinmayi Ghatrazu and Nishanti Evani are playing the lead roles in the film. Anil R has composed the music for the film while Cinematography was done by  Andrew Red and Suresh Babu.

Jr.Ntr and Boyapati combo movie name ...

Jr.NTR has recently given nod to Boyapati Srinu’s script. Now the director Boyapati has come up with a powerful title for this film. As per the buzz, this movie is titled 'Chura Kathi' which would be apt per story line. Producer for this film is KS Rama Rao and it will filmed under Creative Commercials banner.
Boyapati Srinu who proved his  mettle with Simha which gave good break to balayya had impressed NTR Jr. with his direction style. Jr.Ntr specially asked him to prepare a subject that suits him. From then on, Boyapati Srinu has been busy in getting the script ready. Earlier he has narrated few stories to NTR and the actor rejected those as they were upto mark.

Finally, Boyapati came up with Chura Kathi storyline for which NTR Jr. was immensely impressed. This film will go to sets soon after NTR is done with Shakti movie work

3 idiots finalised...

Here comes an end to all the speculations about Shankar's 3 Idiots remakes. Ever since Gemini Film Circuit bought the Telugu and Tamil remake rights of 3 Idiots from Vidhu Vinod Chopra, there is widespread anticipation about the lead roles. After several gossips and confusions here are the final three idiots i.e Vijay, Jeeva and Srikanth will play the lead roles in the Tamil version and Ileana will play the role of Kareena Kapoor. Apart from them, Sathyaraj and Sathyan will also play prominent roles in the film.The technical team comprises Manoj Paramahamsa (Cinematography), Harris Jayaraj (Music), Na. Muthukumar (Lyrics), Muthuraj (Art), Anthony (Editing) and dialogues by Shankar and Madan Karky.
The film is titled as Nanban in Tamil and details of the Telugu version are awaited!

Ala Modalaindi going ahead with good collections

Young Hero Nani and Nitya Menon starrer 'Ala Modalaindi' is going successfully at the Box-Office with growing collections from the release date onwards. Director Nandini Reddy has registered a hit in her account with her debut film. The film is running with mouth publicity for this slapstick romantic comedy entertainer and the unit seems to be happy with the success.
Ala Modalaindi has a potential of collecting more than Rs 10 Cr as per trade circles, which is said to be the wonderful collections for a small budget film. Ala Modalaindi is produced by K.L.Damodar Prasad under 'Sri Ranjith Movies' banner. The latest buzz is the film will be remade in Tamil version soon and a leading kollywood producer has already acquired the rights of the film for Tamil version.
