Director Gunashekar held a press meet today at hyd after filing a complaint at film chamber of commerce.In a anguish mood he said like this"i've registered the title 'Katti' three years back and now my title is used as tag for other film".He said that it is not proper to let his title to be used as tag or part of a title in other movie and registering a title mean it would not be used by others.He added that the reputation of chamber goes vain if this kind of happenings repeat again.He questioned how people can differentiate movie titles that come on same name.
It is reportedly known that Gunashekar uses this title for his upcoming movie with Ravi teja.
Infact it is evident that the title controversy arised after N.Kalyan Ram took up the project titled 'Kalyanram Kathi'. Kalyan ram suffixed Kathi as it would be apt for his character that handles sword for Vengeance.
Kalyanram's Kathi introduces Sana Khan as her debut as heroine in this film.It's a romantic-sentiment-action drama.The film is being produced by Kalyan Ram himself under NTR Arts banner and directed by Mallikarjun. Music for the film is being composed by Mani Sarma. Sources say Kalyan Ram is planning to release the movie on November 5th.
