model-turned-singer-turned-actress recently tweeted the above-mentioned
Hefner quote, and it doesn’t come as a surprise that she is the chosen
one to star in Kama Sutra-3D.
Already in the news for being the first Indian to pose for the illustrious adult-magazine Playboy, Sherlyn Chopra is confirmed to be the leading lady of Kama Sutra in 3D by Rupesh Paul. The director already had announced the film when he premiered his maiden Hollywood venture Saint Dracula 3D at the Cannes Film Festival early this year.
Sherlyn Chopra is naturally on cloud nine because now she can boast of a new version of Kamasutra -- an ancient Indian lovemaking treatise well-known in the western world. The critically-acclaimed director Mira Nair also made a film on it, titled Kama Sutra - A Tale Of Love which was controversial in many ways and in the film the director also tried to show a lesbian relationship. Can Sherlyn outdo Indira Verma or Sarita Choudhury, the bold actresses of Kama Sutra - A Tale Of Love?
However, according to Sherlyn Chopra the film is not vulgar, “Kama Sutra is nowhere close to vulgarity. Nudity is not vulgar. It is a form of art and an expression of the mind. I am considered to be a bold personality but I know this film is going to change perceptions.”
Already aware of Nair’s tribulations during the filming of Kama Sutra - A Tale Of Love, director Rupesh Paul has kept his shooting locations a closely-guarded secret. The film will go on the floors by the year-end. Meanwhile, Sherlyn Chopra’s twitter account is bombarded with congratulatory messages. Atta girl!
