Dhoom 3 starring Abishek bachchan, Aamir khan broke all the previous box office records on the opening day. The first day collection of dhoom 3 is Rs 34-35 crores. Earlier chennai express was highest grossing movie on the opening day which was released in this year august. other cast in this movie include uday chopra, katrina kaif and jackie shroff.
Sharukh khan's "Chennai express" reportedly collected Rs.33.1 crores on the opening day. Salman khan's Ek tha tiger collected Rs.32.92 crores, while Hrithik Roshan's Krrish-3 collected Rs.25 crores on the first day of release.
Dhoom 3 also got overwhelming response abroad. According to Trade analyst Taran Adarsh Dhoom 3 collected 2.48 Lakh pounds( Approx Rs.2.51 crores), In australia it collected 1.57 Lakh dollars(Approx Rs.87 Lakh) and in new zealand 69.16 thousand dollars(Approx Rs.35 Lakhs).
Dhoom 3 is the india's biggest movie release ever. This movie was released in 4,500 screens. Almost 90 percent of the seats were already booked on online by movie fans. This movie left other films behind in Advance booking. According to one website over 60 percent tickets were already booked as an advance in the weekend.
