31 Sri Lankan Fishermen Arrested in India, Boats seized

Visakhapatnam coast guard police today arrested 31 Sri-lankan fishermen for allegedly entering into the India seawater's. They found six suspicious boats when Carrying out the Inspection in the area of Nagayalanka in Krishna Dist. After they arrested the Total 31 fishermen who were present in the boats. 4 tonnes of Tuna fish and boats have been recovered and handed them over to Kakinada marine police. Police registered case against the fishermen and they are investigating the case.

Rs.10,000 fine Imposed on Hero Balakrishna

Revenue officials today imposed a fine of Rs. 10,000 on Hero Balakrishna for drilling a bore well without taking a prior permission from the revenue officials. Locals brought this issue to the notice of officials. Officials after carrying initial investigation came to know that he illegally drilled the bore well. Due to this officials imposed a fine of Rs. 10,000.
