Raw Materials Division (RMD), the controlling unit of captive mines of Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) invites applications from eligible persons for the following posts for posting in its various mines as detailed below:
Operator-cum-Technician Trainee : 29 Posts in various mines, Stipend : Rs. 10700/- per month in first year and Rs. 12200/- in the second year, Pay Scale : Rs. 9160 - 3% - 13150, Age : 18-28 years as on 01/08/2013. Relaxation as per rules., Qualification : Diploma in Engineering.
Application Fee : Rs. 250/- (Rs. 50/- for SC/ST candidates) to be paid in any branch of SBI by challan.
MEDICAL STANDARDS:
Candidates should be of sound physique, free from any physical defect. Medical standards stipulate minimum requirements of Weight: 45 kg (35 kg for females); Height: 155 cm (143 cm for females); Distant vision: 6/9 both eyes with or without glasses; Near vision: J1 or N6 both eyes; Power of glasses should not exceed ± 2.50; Colour vision: Normal; Hearing: Normal.
MODE OF SELECTION:
Eligible candidates will be required to appear in the Written examination. Candidates short listed on the basis of their performance in the Written Test will be required to appear in the Interview. Date, Time & Place of the Written Test and Interview will be intimated to eligible / shortlisted candidates through e-mail and/or SAIL website
