Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing (IIITD&M), Kancheepuram invites applications from individuals with an established record of independent, high quality research and commitment to teaching and research for faculty positions at the levels of:
Assistant Professor : Posts in Pay band (PB‐3): Rs.15600‐39100/‐ with AGP: Rs.6000/ 7000/ 8000 in the areas of (i) Computer Engineering (ii) Electronics Engineering (iii) Mechanical Engineering (iv) Engineering Design on contract / regular basis, Age : 35 years
Emeritus / Visiting / Adjunct Professor (on contract) : Posts in many areas/ specialisations, on contract basis at fixed rate of remuneration
QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE:
Assistant Professor: (AGP of Rs.8000/-)
Ph.D., with first class or equivalent grade at the preceding degree in an appropriate branch/discipline with a very good academic record throughout. Candidate should have at least 3 years industrial / research / teaching experience excluding however, the experience gained while pursuing Ph.D.
Assistant Professor on contractual basis
Candidates not eligible for direct recruitment and possessing Ph.D. degree may be placed at this level in Pay Band (PB)-3: 15600-39100 with AGP of Rs.6000/- with seven non-compoundable advance increments. After one year, they shall be eligible for AGP of Rs.7,000/- p.m.
